ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Kick For A Cause Women's Soccer Tournament is held every summer in Wallingford, Connecticut at Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Park. Over-30 teams play 11 v 11 on regulation-sized fields; over-40 and over-50 teams play 8 v 8 on smaller fields. Activities also include merchandise and food sales, as well as a drawing for lots of fabulous prizes. Whether you come to play, volunteer your time or just watch some great soccer games, the Kick For A Cause Tournament offers a great time for all!
THE CAUSE
In 2010, the Kick For A Cause Tournament has chosen Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis as its charity. This local organization offers services to women and children affected by domestic violence. Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis is based in Wallingford and Meriden, and provides emergency housing, counseling, advocacy and support for victims of physical and emotional abuse.
