ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Kick For A Cause Women’s Soccer Tournament is held every Summer in Wallingford, Connecticut at Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Park. Over-30 teams play 11 v 11 on regulation-sized fields and Over-40/Over-50 teams play 8 v 8 on smaller fields. Activities will also include merchandise and food sales, as well as a drawing for lots of fabulous prizes. Whether you come to play, volunteer your time or just watch some great soccer games, the Kick For A Cause Tournament should be a great time for all!
THE CAUSE
In 2008, the Kick For A Cause Tournament chose the Wallingford Wishing Well as its charity. This local organization is devoted to the benefit and well-being of needy children residing within the boundaries of the town of Wallingford. It fulfills its purpose by bringing relief, whether monetary and/or materially through fund raising and services, to the children who are deemed in need. The Wallingford Wishing Well currently maintains an active membership of approximately 80 people, all of whom volunteer their time, energy and resources to their cause. WWW donates 100% of all proceeds to help needy, sick, and underprivileged children.
