2008 RESULTS
What a great tournament! Wonderful games, super gift baskets, and decent weather – thank goodness!!! I hope you all had as much fun as we did.
This year, the team that traveled the farthest, won the over-50 bracket. Congratulations to Ohio. And thanks to all of the players who participated in our new age group – we had such a good turnout, we plan to offer the over-50’s again next year.
The over-40 teams played valiantly and the competition was fierce. But the Herricanes prevailed in the Championship Game, beating out the Senior-itas by one goal.
The over-30 Championship Game was exciting, as always, pitting the Farmington Dewberries against Southington. A good crowd stayed to watch and cheer on their favorite team. The Dewberries won in the end and collected first prize.
Thanks to all players, coaches, referees, volunteers and friends to participated in the 2008 Kick For A Cause Tournament. We hope to see you again next year!.
We will have pictures, but the webmaster won't have time to add them until August 9/10. So check back then.
