THE CAUSE
In continuing with tradition, we are pleased to once again announce that the KFAC 2025 tournament proceeds will be donated to Chrysalis Domestic Violence Services. This incredible local organization offers support services to women and children throughout the State of Connecticut who are affected by domestic violence. Sadly, domestic abuse has increased because of the stress of needing to stay at home exacerbated by unemployment and financial insecurity. Chrysalis provides emergency housing, counseling, advocacy and support for victims of physical and emotional abuse.
Our mission is not only to provide adult women with an opportunity to play soccer in a fun environment, but also to raise funds for women’s initiatives and other issues affecting our community. We’ve partnered to help many organizations over the years, but since 2010 we have proudly partnered with Chrysalis. We are confident that our donations have indeed made a difference in their efforts to provide emergency and transitional housing for these women and children as well as support services and guidance.
KFAC encourages you to support our charity, Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis. We will be accepting items from the Chrysalis WISH LIST. If you would like to contribute, please bring the items to the tournament. If you would like to donate to Chrysalis, you may do so directly through their website or contact Chrysalis directly at 203.630.1638
Given that KFAC is a non-profit organization, your donation is tax-deductible and serves as an excellent way to give back to your community. Sponsorships begin at $25 with different levels and benefits available.

Since 2005, Kick For A Cause has hosted annual women’s charity soccer tournaments. Our event continues to be a great way for players and guests to socialize and have fun, while raising awareness for this great cause. You don’t have to be a soccer player to have a good time at this event! Just come and enjoy the atmosphere, some soccer and of course participate in the drawings for awesome gift baskets donated by participating teams and local businesses!
